300mm x 9mm Black Ash Woodgrain Hollow Soffit 5m

Featuring a distinctive tongue and groove effect the uPVC black ash hollow soffit can be applied horizontally or vertically depending on personal taste resulting in a unique and protective alternative to timber soffit. Matches most white uPVC fascias, soffits, doors and windows.

Hollow soffit is secret fixed through the tongue of each board using 30mm cladding nails or countersunk screws.

Storage

Store flat on a dry, clean level surface.
Store in a shaded area.
In the sun, you obtain a greenhouse effect in the plastic packaging causing profile distortion and mould growth.
Do not expose protective foil to the sun for prolonged periods (it will be hard to remove and the printing may be transferred to the profile surface.)

Cleaning

Profiles can be washed with water and mild, non-abrasive detergent. Solvent- based cleaners or cleaning agents containing chlorine should not be used. Contact with composites based on bitumen should also be avoided (See notes on biological and chemical resistance on page 5). Solutions developed specifically to clean the profile are also available from Deeplas. For cleaning white profile you can use Decoclean, and foiled you can use Cleanup.

Painting

Painting of the product is not recommended. It can cause embrittlement and dark colours will cause thermal distortion.

Returning an item – Damaged

In the event you receive damaged goods we will arrange a replacement item for you. However, it is your responsibility to notify us within 72 hours of receipt that an item has been received damaged (please see risk below).

Returning an item – Risk

On receipt of the delivery you, the customer, are responsible for those goods and any loss or damage to the goods shall be at your own risk.

Returning an item – Incorrect

If you receive incorrect goods it is your responsibility to notify us within 72 hours of receipt at which point we will make the necessary arrangements.

Delivery shortages

Firstly, our carrier delivers parcels/packages. Any shortages of them must be reported to the driver on receipt. Secondly, shortages of contents of the parcel(s)/package(s) against the enclosed Brissco advice note must be made within 72 hours.

uPVC fascia boards are a highly durable, environmentally friendly, cost effective, safe, secure and robust product.

Is there a difference between a Fascia Board and a Bargeboard?

In essence they are the same product, but they are used for slightly different applications. A Fascia Board is commonly situated behind the uPVC gutters, and a Bargeboard is commonly located on an apex next to the verge. Both applications can use full replacement Fascia Boards or capping over Fascia Boards.
