250mm x 9mm Square Cappit Board Mahogany
250mm Cappit Board Mahogany profiles are designed primarily for overcapping of existing roofline construction in refurbishment projects. They are not able to support the weight of eaves tiles or guttering on their own and should be fixed to existing sound timber or suitable backboards at 600mm centres for white and 400mm centres for foiled and coloured profiles.
250mm Cappit Board Mahogany is a flat-backed refurbishment fascia or bargeboard for overcapping existing sound timber backing. A square return leg accommodates lay-on soffits. This board requires a timber backing board to support the eaves row of tiles. The 9mm fascia are often referred to as ‘cappit boards’ or ‘cover board fascias’ or “refurbishment fascias” in the trade.

Is there a difference between a Fascia Board and a Bargeboard?
In essence they are the same product, but they are used for slightly different applications. A Fascia Board is commonly situated behind the uPVC gutters, and a Bargeboard is commonly located on an apex next to the verge. Both applications can use full replacement Fascia Boards or capping over Fascia Boards.
